I agree oneabung, mclaren fell lucky due to injuries.Good performance again.Notice all of a sudden all the commentators were raving about how good barry is.Hes been that good for a good few seasons now,but couldnt get a game because he doesnt play for either of the big 4.By the way oneabung you said previous that barry "isnt all that as a player"i hope you took notice of his two performances.Hes been very unlucky not to be man of the match in both internationals.Because he does things in the simple unflustered way, people dont realise how good he is.Thats why tottenham have been after him for a long time, probably the big 4 will be taking note.Brian i agree heskey didnt do much for the blues. But maybe he wasnt getting the service.Blues have a history of not getting the best out of players[like andy johnson].Mind you when the villa sold crouch i was over the moon, and he became an england international, hitzelberger became a german international, and savo miloservic is still scoring plenty in spain. It must be a midlands thing.Anyhow great games, good performances, and the fans have been pleased at last.Only dissapointment is why bring neville on again, why pick ashley young and not blood him for 10 minutes or so.We have been 3-0 up twice so their wouldnt have been any pressure.Macclaren must think hes good enough or he wouldnt have picked him?Its a bit like the theo walcott episode with sven. What do you think?
cornerstone.
ps Larry teapot[bluenose]has been a bit quiet on the subject of heskey, come on pete are you missing him?
