Thumbs down England Win?

A goal through the keepers legs, a deflection goal from Rooney and an own goal, and once again not another good showing from Robinson, add to that a very very poor second half and what do you get, (you tell me).

Do not get carried away by the score, substitutions? Steve McNugget still to go.

Woodhouse, I am far from being a moaner, but what I am is a realist, your not telling me, and be honest with yourself, that Estonia were a good team.
Yes we got 3 points, who played well in the 1st half, and who played in the 2nd half, you have to be able to play well for 90mins. Let's see what happens on Wednesday.

Will contact you Wednesday night after the match.

Cheers.

Steve McNugget to go.

Estonia was a no win situation for England, we were expected to beat them which we did big test wednesday on that plastic pitch, then we can judge them better, as long as we qualify then we have time to sort out the team.

I agree with you pot ! A win is a win even if we played bad, Still proves there is some action up front otherwise we wouldn't have got the three goals right ?

You only play to win right ! So we won, we got the goals and did not concede.

JOB WELL DONE !

Barry man of the match, even the commentators rave about him now. Also micah richards, another solid performance.Thought the game went flat when the subs came on.Shows he picked the best team to start with.A few players had poor games[gerard being one]and we looked dodgy in defence a couple of times. But overall they were no match for us.I thought we played better in the games that heskey was involved in,and maybe crouch should have been involved. We still pump in high balls even when we have no big target men,and they got wasted. The russians looked dodgy when heskey battered them in the air,so maybe crouch with his height could do some damage. From a villa point of view i would have liked to see ashley young get a few minutes, with his pace he would have murdered estonia.Russia 1 england 2[crouch and gerard-set pieces]

Thumbs down

Matchgaz, you said WE got the goals, we scored one goal through the legs of a numbty goalkeeper, the other two were own goals.

I thought Rooney and Richards were great and deserve there places on Wednesday, I agree Crouch should play some part in the match, I would drop Robinson and play James, Lampard sub, would still play Wright Philips even though he had a poor 2nd half, (like the rest of em).

TEAM;
James
Richards
Ferdinand
Cambell
Terry
Barry
Gerrard
Cole J.
Owen/Crouch
ROONEY
Wright Philips WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS TEAM THEN'

Sorry no: Charlton R, Greaves, Banks, Moore, Ball, Hurst, Peters, Cohen, Hunt, Wilson, Charlton J. Stiles.
