I would wrap them in cotton wool and keep them in the house with the television turned off.For gods sake dont send them to school because i have heard that some kids actually know swear words

Brian, you cannot go into a shop pick up a magazine look through it, check that there is no kind of porn material contained in it then decide whether to buy it or not. You normally have to buy a magazine to see what it contains, then it could be to late. You do not expect to find this kind of material in a fishing paper.
I to have grandchildren and would not subject them to this kind of material, be it in a newspaper or magazine.
Maybe some people don't mind what there kids see or read, but I am not one of them.
Should there have been a warning on the front page.

Woodhouse you are right kids do go around swearing, I have kids from a school near me, who swear like a trooper, smoke, carry weapons have no respect for anyone or anything especially the older generation, you think thats O.K. No need to wrap them up, just teach them to have a bit of respect, which seems to be in short supply these days.

I have not seen this weeks AT, so could some one explain what content is so offending? I only buy it occasionly now really for match results.

I do remember in the past some-one complaining in one of the angling monthlys regarding a pole repair advert that features a ladys bum. It's advertising and in any other sport/hobby paper you see far worse.

I buy it most weeks, most of it is not up to much IMHO, but I do like reading Neil Machins bit as well as Mr.Ringers articles, also a read of the results to see what weights are being caught.
Shame about the girlie adds though it just dosn't seem right to me in the Angling times somehow?
