Thumbs down Sack the Editor and his Team

A few weeks ago I said I would never buy Angling Times again, and I have kept my word. Today I had a look at my friends copy of this rag and I am so pleased with myself that I kept my promise. How low they have gone, they cannot go any lower and they must be desperate for funds, why? have you seen page45, what has this page got to do with Angling of any description.

I would suggest looking at the Editor and his team

Your not moaning again!

Pages with Ads on help pay for the mag to get to print.

Woodhouse, it is not moaning it is just my opinion, (which happens to be great), pages like this belong in Fiesta, Hustler, Mayfair and the like. If I buy an angling mag I want it to be all about angling and not titilation.

Next week you may get Nigella holding a big one on the front page, (MAVER POLE).

I'm afraid you get a thumbs down mate.

O.K. Lets look at the AT editor and team this week, then sack em next week.

McNugget has to go.

And how many chances does Robinson need, if he was in your team and played like he has, he would have got you the sack first.

Still a thumbs down for you.

From a non MOANER, JUST AN HONEST GUY.

Well said Fordy.

One for Woodhouse, I have just had a call from my two nephews father, one of my nephews is 12, and the other is 9 years of age, they both took up fishing 4months ago and went with there father, they also bought Angling Times for information out of there pocket money.

Question to Woodhouse, what do you tell a 12year old and a 9year old when they see page 45 of Angling Times?

Awaiting your sensible reply Woodhouse.

Still the big thumbs down for you mate.

Why oh why all the points scoring posts, AT is not a public service its a newspaper run for profit, whilst I agree that it is not really what should be in an angling magazine, we all have a choice on what we spend our money if I dont like something I dont buy it it really is that simple, lets face facts soft porn is all around us in the shape of daily papers, many TV programmes before the water shed portray scenes of a sexual nature, as do pop videos and places like you tube contain it.
The best we can do is monitor what our kids and in my case grand kids watch or read.
