The increase has hit the company i work for in as much as the couriers prices are going up all the time due to fuel increases. Like you Justin I can spend a lot of the week on the road and how much it cost me now to this time last year is unbealivable.

Did no one see the concept car that ran on water, can really see this taking off (not) but imagine if it did, how much for a bottle of water then.......................

Hydrogen cells are the answer, sadly they are still a little while away, they have them in test cars, I was reading about this some time ago, I havnt seen one that runs on water.

The problem however then lies in revenue for our current government, as they will lose fortunes they will have to implement new taxes to compensate.

we are currently in a now win situation.

sadly New Labour is really old Labour and they won't be happy untill we are back to the 99% tax they once set in motion.

Texaco petrol is now £110.9 for unleaded and £120.9 for diesel, that's £5 a gallon for unleaded I believe, OH and the wife tells me that our food bill has gone up £10 a week.

If it was France this was happening in they'd have every main road and port blockaded up by now but us stupid brits just sit back and let the government take more and more of our money.... Why do we do this??? Petrol, council tax, food, national insurance, mortgages etc. has all gone up significantly in the last 5 years and us as a country has just sat back and let them take it, now I will admit that i've never had so much money coming into my house but on the other hand i'll also say that i've never had so little left after all my bills too after all most decent working people want is to go to work and at the end of the week be able to feed and clothe there family and afford a few luxuries like fishing, holiday once a year and the odd pint or 2 but with this government we can't even afford that... I will never ever vote labour again and thats from a lifelong labour supporter anyway rant over

I second everything you wrote Leetwin, I suppose some of our taxes has to go to keep the illegals who are here, after all it must cost at least £100 million a week based on 2 million the government said crept into the country illegaly.
