Just a thought who amongst our fraternity realy cares about organic foods, fair trade foods, air miles, or anything else relating to sutch things for that matter. Or do people just search out the best bargins
Best bargains every time, all this fair trade nonsense how do we know the 3rd world farmers benefit if we buy their produce after the four main supermarkets have been found out rigging prices.
good for business all this free range , organic , fair trade rubbish.one big con no business changes anything unless it makes more money by doing so. look at all the crap in tackle shops especially bait every flavour colour shape size smell of pellet you could imagine. 'good for business' said my mate ( fishing republic shop manager)

My beloved insists on barn eggs or free range so that's the law at home to tell the truth couldn't care less personally as for organic don't think so. Then fare trade who's it fair to not me when I'm paying the bill. As for food miles don't make me laugh all I do is stumble around the super market following my gaffer.
I try to stick to the stuff I know tastes good. If it happens to organic then thats just lucky. I do like going to the farmers markets and fish markets though. Local fresh produce is always a winner, but unfortunately can also be a bit costly.
