As some of you will know my daughter died suddenly 4 years ago, and we have held charity nights to raise money in her memory, this year we are looking to have a slightly more upmarket event and we are looking at a meal, plus ABBA tribute act and disco, have any of you guys and girls been to an ABBA night and could you recommend a tribute act or indeed has any one seen ABBA Dream, who perform as both a full act or as a duo. Abba Dream are based in Wigan so some of you from the North West may have seen them.

Regarding ABBA tribute bands,i believe one of the best around now are called ABBA UK and are conveniently based in the midlands! they have a website too, just google them(sorry i dont know how to post a link yet)

Brian, I believe there is an ABBA night at The Mount, just off J26 at Orrell. When I go home tonight I will walk past and get the deetails for you. Not sure if its this weekend?

Brian they have a lot of tribute bands at the snowdome in Tamworth. I know they have an ABBA one every few months and im told it is always a sell out. Might be worth contacting the snowdome for details.

Why not have a word with that Nigel from Barston lakes as the I am sure the bar has tribute acts all the time

Walked past The Mount last night, the Abba Extravaganza is on Sunday 4th May. Its a bit of a fancy dress and all things Abba night, but features a tribute act called Chick-a-teeta.
