New Forum style and layout - Talk Angling fishing chat and tackle advice

Hi everyone.

I am in the process of a forum redesign. If you go to the very bottom of the page on the left hand side you will see a little dropdown box which allows you to change the style of the forum.... if you click it and change to The Dark Side of TalkAngling have a look - it is only a work in progress at this stage, looking for feedback - both positive and negative please.

When i first looked at the new style it looked great , it was modern and eye catching but after a few minutes it seemed their was to much going on , thought it was maybe to dark so swapped back and the light style as it is , seemed more pleasing to the eye but sometimes you just get use to things as they are , I'm sure id get use to it whatever changes are made

Well i jumped between the 3 of the choices and i think the darker side looks a lot better and more cleaner then the lighter side

Bottom line is as there is a big change in the next version of the forum we MUST change the skin so I am having to develop the new look.

Hi Simon,

I have had a look at the new look and I think it looks brilliant! The dark background really makes the content stand out and easier to read too.

dark side the better,the lighter one was hard on my eyes,will get used to the dark side though.

Dark side light side makes no difference to me Simon do whatever you think, it's the members that make the site what it is not the graphics, with your help of course.
