just watched the news...about banning floral tributes on the side of the road..... I am lucky to have not suffered a loved one killed in this way so dont feel the pain they do.BUT when i see one it actually makes me think and slow down some.To ban them is just cobblers look at all the other crap we have to put up with as we drive along.All signs are made to make you look ban tributes then we should ban all signs...dont we have enough crap in the world without having to worry about silly political correctness that just causes reseintment between people.You know what if people want to do things that hurt no one else let them get on with it what harm does it cause.In my opinion the do gooders are doing us no good at all ..................ok ive finnished

these clowns who keep pushing political correctness, are in my opinion ,doing the only thing they have a talent for and that is GETTING UP PEOPLES NOSES,if ever the day came when we were all PC,then they would be unemployable

Unfortunately here in the Fens its a common site.
Theres lots of sharp bends, ditches and drains around here and its more often than not the young drivers who come off the roads.
I say keep them....make them bigger in fact so that everyone will see the danger. Perhaps this will make some people slow down and drive to the conditions.

I own a florist shop (for my sins.... well no to keep the wife out of trouble) and we often get people coming in to buy flowers to lay by the roadside, what harm can it do.... I wonder what their reasoning behind banning it would be? Perhaps it is contributing to global warming in some way.
