Lets just say it more of a 'thinking mans' venue! Seriously though, double figures should win it and it's fair, and makes a change from carp fishing. Just don't go there expecting to do silly weights of silvers.
It's mainly roach and rudd, with odd tench and crucians.
I won there back in april with 60 odd rudd for 8 1/2 lb, which I'd take any day on a river- I think sometimes we all expect to do huge weight of silvers just because it's a commercial, But I get a bit disinterested in 'fish races', and it makes a nice change to use your brain to nick odd fish from here and there, using different methods etc.

Your quite right Avonman
i finished 3rd last week with 5lb/12oz/the wind was horrendos!!! but as you say its a challenging venue,, but i enjoy it there. should be a good match there on saturday ,, nice weather predicted. 15lb would be a good weight..
