Its OK loosefeeding but you dont know how many are actually getting to the bottom due to roach and rudd taking on the drop.

I dont actually use bags its just a term really. I use the Korda boilie funnel web which is like a stocking mesh. Disloves much quicker than the actual bags seem to.

Woody1, it was in angling times a couple of weeks ago if you can get a copy. Its a really simple running rig to be honest. But very effective never the less.

Do not ignore the silvers them skimmers go to 3 or 4 lb now they have eaten all those pellets and the roach are impressive too. Fished it just about a month ago and could not get a sniff of a carp but plenty approx 40 - 50 skimmers / bream on a small method feeder with dead red. Small ball of gb about the size of an egg. This was from the side nearest the red lion. Also did caster on the pole line for a nice few roach as well but did get smashed by a couple of carp though.Could try the council house bank with pellet on the lead and firing a few out for carp though
