MY Dad won yesterdays open with 130lb plus. 17 carp on small PVA bags and hair rigged meat. There were a couple of other ton plus weights with the seventy's being the in form area.

Steve
Does wetting down the pellets cause any problems with the PVA bags breaking down.

The reason i ask is becausei have considered using them on our local canal in the summer to get casters though the small fish.

No boats so the canal is very silty hence the dropper either goes straight into the silt or does not open.

To put casters in a PVA bag they would have to be fairly dry if im honest, as if they were wet then the bag would disolve.
