Mr Williams, as a old friend I would say do the right thing and then go fishing as much as you can.

Believe me I now put my wife & family first that in my opinion makes me a better man.

Got a 4month old here, came about 6 months after i just started to get back into fishing after a 4 year break. Already had some big arguments over me ''running off'' for the day while she has the baby, the only way I can get around it is to make deals with the missus like she can go out for a night with her friends while i look after bab in exchange for a day of fishing, or let the granparents have her for a day and give the missus some money to go out shopping or somthing

If you complain about not being able to fish (without coming up with a dam good deal 1st) prepare to have you had pulled off and flushed down the toilet

I suppose I'm lucky my wife never complained once even though I just took it for granted that weekends were mine for fishing, I worked all week & she got anything she wanted that was the compromise. I'm glad I spent so much time doing what I wanted because now I'm unable to go as much through illness.
Make your mind up whats important & stick to it, do what you want you don't know whats around the corner.
