Default Problem at Drayton...

Hi lads

Arrived for a match at Drayton yesterday to be told by the baliff that this would be the last time we could use keep nets, and we could only put 6 max in each! Hot sure if this is an edict from BW or just his own agenda, but if you have any matches booked there for the future I would get it checked out!

On another note, he was happy to leave two of the Sensas carp crew fish 3 rods a piece with fish on all of them at once, didn't see any fish welfare issues there at all!

Cheers...Mark

i think they are turning into more of specimen and pleasure venue as they started night sessions on friday nights last year and have plans to extend the availability .

Lets face facts the carp in there were identified as having a parasite that prevented their removal and transfer to other BWB waters, so what do they do, remove and kill existing stock just so the matchman can have a few more pasties put in, or alternatively let it become the specimen water. Carp fisheries have reached saturation pont and their is no major call for the big old lumps even if the carry no disease.
