Default Fishing Lessons?

Hi,

Anyone ever heard of fishing lessons?

I recently started fishing and am doing ok (recently had 60lb out of canal) BUT i have no idea what i am doing really!!!!

For instance I tie my hook on with 3 double knots rather than a "fishing knot"! No idea how to use feeder, no idea how to plumb depth etc etc etc, i'm just plodding along making it up as i go!

Also recently brought a pole and finding it bloody hard so given up on it!

Got good equipment so I am told, very keen to learn, just need a few pointers in right direction.

Does anyone know of someone who does fishing lessons? I am based in Walsall but would gladly travel to learn! Or would you be interested in spending day or 2 with a novice teaching basics and maybe fishing pool and canal with all dofferent baits and methods and maybe day of carp fishing (even got the bivvy!)

Obviously willing to pay going rate.

Many Thanks

I'm going tomorrow mate if you fancy it? I'm a member at a syndicate lake near telford so let me know if your interested? £5.00 per day ticket just pm me with your full name and I'll write one out. What is it you want to learn? how old are you? bring your rod and method feeders, cage etc etc and pole tackle, it's nice and quiet so will not be disturbed but dont forget your licence also they are spot on checking there

get some mojo method mix or any method mix will do (cheapest if poss, and smallest bag poss) get a few 15 g method feeders about 2 inches long, I have plenty of hooklengths tied so no need to bother there. Get a small tin of hemp and i'll cut you a tin of meat and get any fishmeal pellets 4mm I'd say any brand but low oil please. I like to go early and have a full day if we will have to go over methods then we can have a 3-4 hours putting in to practice what you wanna learn
