Default Trimpley access

Hello all,

Can anyone help me ?

I will be looking to fish the BAA stretch of the severn at Trimley this weekend but there is now no parking due to errosion caused by last years flooding which has closed the old BAA carp park permanantly.

Is there any other access to this stretch and anywhere you can park the car ?

Looking on the BAA website there was a good catch there on the opening day so you must still be able to gain access, perhaps through the water works,,,?

Any help please will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

I might be wrong - but the recent Bewdley festival had a section called the Trolls, which is the section you use to walk past before you got to the Trimpley section.

Although I didnt fish on this part of the river in the festival I was lead to believe that the car park is the same. Maybe a call to the BAA HQ might be in order and ask where do you park??

On the other hand, one of the best pegs on the Trimpley stretch is called the "Stones". Its just as easy to walk from Arley as it is from Trimpley, mind you - its a good 30 mins either way.

Puddle chuckers this aint for you
