Where do the big roach disapear to in my local commie..
fishing shallow for them on castor...March and aprill good months, then into may, june july everytime i try the same tactics small roach after small roach with the ocasional decent fish thrown in..Its like the big roach switch off .I think they switch to pellet as it seems to coincide with the pellet wags comming out..

Big roach will tend to feed later in the day mate, especially at dusk when most commercials are closing!! I had some good roach and rudd at our place the other night and the best fish came when I could hardly see me float!
