Default Match fishing in france
Have any of you guys on here ever fished lakes in France?

Obviously there is a massive carp scene over there but I had a call from a guy called Ian Starmer who owns an 80 acre lake and up till now his lake has just been for carp and catfish... however he tells me they recently allowed a match on there and out of 55 anglers the LOWEST weight was 154lb and the winner had 340lb - this is all bream between 6 and 10lb!!!

If anyone fancies a week out there Ian has accomodation on site and will arrange everything for you - if you do contact him please say you saw his details on Talk Angling and he might give you a bit of a discount if you mention TA!
