Default New Website Advice

I am looking at starting a web site for our local club, giving general info and match results ect. I am computer savy (to a degree), so was wondering if any of you people out there can give any direction to a reliable site that hosts such websites that is not going to cost the Earth.
Cheers for any forthcoming advice.

hi, I use justhost for a local fishery website. But they want 3 years money upfront = £ 110 for cheapest package. They have a super website builder thats easy to use. I would point you to the site I made ( link below)but i messed it up playing around !! Maybe your ISP can give you a few pages for free. I can pay more for daily backup for my site £20 a year and then I wouldnt have to start from scratch, never mind lol
