think I , may be confusing them with another angling body! Sir Dave can deal with this one!
I will say this though - we have some landing nets that are AF approved and fish get still get stuck in them!!

well we are starting to get near the point i am trying to make........some middy nets catch dorsal fins ...i have a map landing net very soft and has never to my knowledge caught a fin...i also have a rubber net also not to my knowledge caught a fin.........so what are the best or are they all after our money..middy is out for me??but lets face it 8 nets and 6 net heads......come on get a grip......is the only thing caught here ME.

all fisheries prefur softmess nest beacuse the fishes fins are less likely to get stuck in the smaller holes, its all about fish fish welfare, the softer the mess the better.
