Default fishery approved logo

I read tonight that its just a marketing ploy.Be that true or not, i have 3 nets that are soft and supposedly fish friendly and i have 3 that are a bit stiffer material still bear the logo.So which are the best and why....lots of fishery's dont specify which they prefer others like the glebe do....so your opinions please

larry my boy,i have 5 of the buggers,but the likely hood that im ever going to fill them is soooo far away,it wont really matter!!!!

according to there web site there was a scheme developed 5 years ago

copied and pasted from there site

NetsThe Angling Foundation’s nets accreditation scheme for keepnets, landing nets and allied equipment was launched nearly five years ago. It was devised because of growing concern by observant fishery owners over the abrasiveness of certain types of nets and the effect on their fish. Such has been the huge success of the scheme that there are now a 10 manufacturers in membership, and 117 products that have passed the tests.

Makes you laugh when you see the netting operation that was on tight lines last week!
2000lb of fish hauled in and chucked into hard plastic buckets!!

i thought that abbo when i was watching they way they treated them you would have thought they were gonna be culled not released to another pool

Can't remember the ins and outs now, but the lad that used to work here told me about it.
What is the angling foundation and what else do they do???
