whats your veiw on this subject?
do you approve on seeing fisherman esp carp anglers having a few cans whilst fishing.
are they a bloody pest after a few cans making a fool of them selfs?.
do you have a drink whilst fishing?
i just wonder if they think whilst had a few too many and fall in it would be the person on the next peg having to jump in to save him.
me myself go in my car mainly day fish so i take a flask of coffee but on odd occasion done an overnighter and take 2 cans of boddingtons

I drive to venues and match fish so i can't have a can while fishing (i should be bagging), for those that do its not a problem has long has they don't leave the cans lying about and don't bother other anglers.

I dont think a can or two is a bad thing during a ssesion as long as you dont have to drive and dont go over the top. I mainly pleasure fish these days but a few year ago i was mainly after the carp at my local club, fishing over night etc. We would often have a couple of cans with us and allways took our rubbish home and often other peoples rubbish to. What i dont agree with are so called Carp anglers who turn up on a lake fri night get the rods out the proceed to get totally legless, sleeping through runs. This is totally unacceptable people like this should be banned from the lake. I fished a club where these idiots ruined the carp fishing for a few long time members who fished for ther carp as the clubs action against them was to take all the carp out of the lake.

never drunk the day before, or on the day whilst fishing might have couple on the way back with the lads.
When I was about 16, many years ago had to dive in the avon to fetch a bloke out who had fallen in through drinking on the match, its was the middle of winter and freezing cold. When I found out he,d been boozing I vowed then never to drink before or while Im fishing.
Some in our club are sloshed when they get there and still shift 3/4 cans during the match
