going carp fishing this weekend an overnighter first time carp fishing in winter as i do a lot of sea fishing in winter but for a change going carp fishing. got info on what bait to take but what size hair rig do i take would you say 18/20 any help would be great thanks

I'd use a size 8 or 10, 10mm or 15mm boile as bait with the bait being 5mm from the hook bend.

corn or white pop up boiles on a hair rig with a PVA bag with some micro low oil pellets in should do the trick is the water your fishing a commercial or natural venue with much lower stocks of carp
