Expand on that a bit Nicky, if you are adding garlic how are you preparing your pellets then.

Got some BCUK GTX hooker pellets from the NEC last year which I keep in the fridge. They're moist but not oozing with oil so I put half a tub aside and dusted them with Tescos garlic powder. Took them in the house where it was warmer and overnight the powdered garlic coating vanished as the oils absorbed it. The few carp I caught at langwith the other week came on these.

To be honest Simon, I don't use oils in pellets during the winter as oils tend to thicken when it's cold and would really need some kind of emulsifier added to aid dispersal.
If I use flavours at this time of the year they're water based.
Come summer though it's all change.

I use carpvaders betamarine during the cold months on both expanders and on hard micro pellets the garlic additive is a good idea ive used it on meat but never on pellets will defo try that one over the next few weeks
as the weather warms up I use pred+ or carpvaders schitzel wurst (spicy meat) on pellets and meat
