Default Sea fishing licence..

My mate is a sea angler he was moaning on at me about the possibility of there being a sea fishing licence equivalent to the environment agency licence coming out shortly. Surely an environment agency licence could be extended to cover sea fishing i mean they guys are rubbing around on rocks and beaches causing as much damage to the earth as anyone else.

Whats your thoughts on this ???

Very very true those guys see some very stupid actions.

I was fishing off sandbanks in poole and witnessed 3 teenagers in a canoe with fishing rods, they looked very shifty so I thought i would keep an eye on them.

I was amased as I watched them paddle up to a large metal bouy thats used for the shipping lane. They continued to climb onto this bouy and start to fish, they must of got bored after around 10 mins and 1 of them dived off.

As he tried to climb back on he realised that the ladder was to high up so thought it was a good idea to climb back on the canoe, BAD Move as he did water was flooded into the canoe and swiftly sunk.

So you had 2 guys on the bouy with fishing rods and 1 in the water slowly drowning.

Mixed emotions really, but i didnt want to see that moron drown.

Around 20 mins after the start of the event the trusty RNLI arrived and saved them. but i bet they had a few choice words for them.

"Nice shop btw" Cheers m8
