i dont see how it was negative. i thought that with only a few anglers turning up that any new junior anglers wanting to fish a match possibly for the first time that they felt that the pressure was off as he numbers are low and intimate, and may feel a bit more comfortable starting match fishing.

as i found that when i started match fishing that i felt very intimidated about the draw and setting up.

aslo another point is i know both dave limm and neil jackson very well.

and lastly i was replying to larry teepot asking how many anglers it had.

in future polemaster i think you should pm me first before you try and slate me.

If i was going to slate you shaun i would tell you so.
So you think it will encourage anglers to travel to fish against as your mate says 2 anglers, ( people can read in to that lots of reasons why only 2 have supposed to have turned up ) could you not have said there is normally plenty of room for juniors of any standard to attend from the new angler up to the more experienced angler as coaching and encouragement is freely on hand. Again you are relying on second hand info, i would encourage anyone interested to contact the fishery direct to obtain up to date info. As for telling Larry fine but maybe a pm ( as you suggest i use ) or being tactful with your reply. I will if anyone would like ask them to reply with there own version of junior matches and attendances.
Yes i know you fished the Bonehill junior matches as well as the Lamb ones.
As for sending you a pm first why would i want to do that, and as for you knowing Neil and Dave not sure what the hell thats supposed to mean, so what, so do a lot of people.

I have to have known Neil for nearly as long as how old you are, team fished with him, researched and developted bait with him, fished countless opens with him, worked with him, so yes i think i know Neil, I know Dave through coaching him being a NFA Regional coach and me a PAA coach for a few years and i am sure they would like only positive remarks about the juniors no matter how ill conceived they are.
As for the not really a mate , but someone who i bumped into that told me you would trust the views of a complete stranger that may in all honesty have only ever turned up once.
Come on be positive, juniors are becoming scarce in angling and anything we can say or do to promote or encourage them has to be applied and applauded, as do they that make the effort and give up there own free time to do so.

yes polemaster i too have to agree that what dave and neil do does need more recognition.

the lad that told me about the two anglers turning up is a member of bonehill and so is the other lad that fished.i know them both from when i used to fish with them.
