Started already, here is my little fella aged 2 1/2 last summer. He can't land his own fish yet, but he holds onto the pole, tips feed in via a pot, strikes and brings them in by himself. I do have a hand hovvering close by incase he lets go of the top 2 with a fish on!
I found summer to be the best time to let him 'play' as he can fish right against the bank and let the elastic do its job - he loves it!
