They arranged a new pole section from Daiwa delivered to me in two days

not a chance,

but then many of them have closed, there isnt many local ones left in London

Wonder were it will all end local tackle shops closing down, I think to blame is probably, tackle manufacturers stating a price & then shops cutting one another's throat for a sale, mail order is just one more nail in the coffin. My local shops owner has gone back to work his wife now runs the shop. You can't blame people for hunting out a bargain, & with super store type shops like Harrison's, fisherman's friend, Bennett's, making most of the sales no wonder shops are struggling.
