What is the heaviest fish you have caught on the pole ? what was the pole, elastic, rig and bait ?

18lb 8oz Carp, Some Browning match pole, No10 laccy, 8lb line, size 12 hook with worm over pellets.
Was fishing for tench in a local lake when all hell broke loose....
Landed it after 10 minute scrap, but had to borrow a bigger landing net from bloke off next peg lol.
Great memory....

11lb 12oz Rolfs carp on lidl's meat of 4mm and 6mm pellet on peg 16 to the left hand side bush on May 3rd 2008!

I acctully landed two 11lb 12oz one common and one mirror carp!

I have a size 14 b911 streightend two

.21 preston powerline! snaped it aswell

And purple hydro !

In my Map CFS!

17lb 8oz mirror. Larford speci. Daiwa G8 fishing paste. 14 mt3 hook. 0.16 line.
Elastic was maver 12-20 but it stretched so much didn't think it was ever coming back!

Some great weights there, mine is only about 9lb common on my old preston lerc 3051 but I enjoyed landing it.

no matt, only about 20 mins i think. it just went round in a circle. I got its head in the landing net then rugby tackled it and ran up the banking with it
