Thumbs up Test Curve
I have a 2 1/4lb test curve carp rod, do you think this is to heavy to fish for barbel in rivers, if so what can you recommend.
I was watching someone fishing a river with a Trevor West barbel rod which looked pretty good, (never heared of Trevor West).

Hiya, itdepnds where your fishing but with the rivers fairly dormant at the moment, you may be a bit over gunned! Trefor West, is one of the best Barbel anglers in the country, and a really nice guy to boot!

Cheers Silverfish and Larry, but what rod would you recommend.

Where was Trefor from and what rivers did he fish.
