Smile Fizzing Swim

If you have a swim and you have got it really fizzing, should you.
1. Fish it overdepth.
2. Fish it dead depth.
3. Fish it a little under depth.

Cheers

i usually find that under depth works best ,shallow up until you stop getting liners that way when your float goes its a positive bite you wont foul hook fish aswell

You should fish to one side of the fizzing... fish may be nosing into the bottom where the fizzing is and making them almost impossible to catch when they go like that.

Definately fish off or away from the fizzing and work your way in
dropping right on the fizzing will give you liners and in most cases foul hooked fish

Different things could be happening.
You don’t need many fish getting their heads down to cause a disturbance on the bottom, as well as the bubbles the water would be very cloudy around that area and a lot of fish either go to the side or up in the water.
The fact is, when fish are rooting about on the bottom they are disturbing the sediment and are unable to see anything, maybe a few grains of sweetcorn will be seen!
If the bubbles are small the fish may be what’s known as gill feeding, fish feeding up in the water can cause this.
Fishing over a Jacuzzi can be very frustrating, try big bright baits, to the side & up in the water, it may work.

Oneabung and Justin are spot on ferryman, its probably time to pick up that heavier rig/setup and put a bigger hook sample out. Then strap yourself in because hopefully the bigger fish have moved in. Sometimes you hook one but sometimes they come and go without even a dip on the float! If the bigger fish are coming and going its probably down to feeding. Try putting a big potfull out (catmeat, pellets or hemp) to tempt them back again for a repeat performance.

Thumbs up

Many thanks to you all, the problem I was having was that I was fishing overdepth and the hook was right down the mouth of the fish.

Cheers

Well thats not a bad thing you aint gonna lose it,

basically whats happening is you have a little too much line on the bottom and the fish taking your bait isnt registering on your float as it carries on munching, when that happens shallow up a tad and adjust your shot so the last dropper is just on the deck,

JC
