Default Evesham angling festival

Hi all
Am i the only one dissapointed with the tackle market at Evesham. I went to get a few bargains, but the majority of the stock was old and at shop, or more prices.
I did however depart with £220 for a browning seat box, usual price £349, so did find something.
Did not get to see much of the fishing, went with the other half and she wanted to head to the resturant straight away ,for a carvery ( on my own next year ) but fair play, she did not moan after i bought the box but then agian i earned it
She aint looking over me shoulder....

Its worth travelling four hours on the monday if you want to see quality anglers catching 6lb odd of roach - but as regards the tackle village, stick to your local shop.

The poles I looked at where about the same price as the tackle shops, I did see a Map but even that was no cheaper, got some ground bait and hemp, pellet pump, and hooks which were cheap, but not as good as last year.
