Yes but you cannot rely on anglers to dip their nets and even if they do they often just dunk them in and not the bit they are holding or dont dip the landing net.... all too much hassle to risk the fishery stocks for the sake of a couple of grand on nets.

ANd to answer the question Dave - if they are looked after nets should last quite a while providing they are dried properly.
