Default First aid training for anglers

First Call! medical training have been chosen as preferred provider for the ADB/Angling Trust to deliver First Aid courses to L2 CCA coaches. We have developed a specific First Aid Course for Anglers in mind.

This appears on the ADB web site -

First Call! Medical Training & Solutions is a First Aid Training Company who provides both contemporary and bespoke First Aid Training courses throughout the UK. All instructors are fully qualified HSE trainers and the company is run by a Paramedic with over 20 years experience with the NHS Ambulance Service and the armed forces. We have tailored this First Aid Course to cover likely scenarios in an angling environment, as well as basic life support principles. The programmes are lecture based with interactive sessions and time for discussion and questions. On successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a valid 3 year First Aid Certificate, an "aide memoire" booklet and a resuscitation face shield.
We hope you enjoy the new approach to your first aid training and look forward to meeting you on the day. 1st Aid Course - The Angling Trust

We are now in a position to offer this course to clubs. The course is only 4 hrs long, & will teach you basic life support, environmental health around water, & many other relevant subjects.

These days when you're trying to offer your members something more.. something better.. think outside the box. You will show them that your commitment to them isn't just about the fishing, it's about their wellbeing whilst they are members of your club & duty of care to your Junior sections

These courses can be organised at your club's convenience, date & time. We can run this as an evening class or during a Saturday/Sunday session.

Ensure your working parties are 'catered for', first aid provision taken care of...

On match days, ensure medical cover always available...

We have an incentive scheme available to clubs, book 10 people on the course get another place free... book 14 people & get 2 further free places.

What price is the safety of your members? If only 10% of your members are First Aid trained, that's 10% more than most clubs.

Costs have been kept to a minimum for this course, thus ensuring you of our attention at all times, whilst you provide the 'GOLD standard' of safety & care to your members.

The price is £40 per person, all candidates will receive a booklet, certificate of completion, resus face shield, & expert experienced advice, & training.

Unfortunately junior sections of clubs (under 16's) cannot participate in this, Sorry guys n girls, you'll just have to wait.

Please contact us by telephone, e mail or fax, all details are at the top

We look forward to hearing from you

Yours

Craig SRPara
