Nice article Shaun, did I see some pro micron 3 in your line tray,

I reckon I spend about 15 hours a week on prep and thats just in the tackle room

yer you did see some old pro micron3, i only use it in 0.05 and 0.55, 10 and 12 oz.

did they replace pro micron with anything?

i used to fish 5 matches a week and the prep time was unreal.

on average i spend about 5 -10 hours per match in the tackle room let alone phone calls,recky missions, tackle shop and checking the weather.

This takes me back, when i team fished expecially on rivers where the float dominated i spent ages making up pole rigs, stick float rigs, hook lengths preparing baits etc. Now i fish on comercials i don't spend any time on preparation other than soaking some pellets the night before, i make my rigs up on the day, my waggler and tip rods are ready made up in holdalls from the last match. I enjoy my fishing far more know and win more matches.

Shaun pro micron 3 is very good line I got that stuff into the UK about 18 years ago it was massive when I first put it out there I was getting calls from every angler in the UK

I heard its still around only in new packaging and sold by one of the bigger companies
