Hiya, you might just get lucky with the repair, I had a small split on my number 6 for the Medusa "J" repaired with a wrap (while I waited for the new section to arrive) and it still scopes in to the number 7 and I think even if you have to have an internal sleeve fitted it may still go over the number 5. Might be worth asking the question for a "proper" repair

Redfin, as Keith as suggested get the section repaired by Scott at Esselle. It'll be good as new & still scope away

I am sure it was about £90, the same, in fact I am sure it is a Medusa K section that I received.
