I have the Sensas 634 and it works real well for the biggies with 90lb of carp taken in 3 hrs without even a blemish lots of power a very good all rounder I can't say its better or worse than any of the other but it does what i want from it very well and it comes with a huge holdall and eveything you would want. Also replacement parts are cheap £130 for a top 5 set

I bought the 796 the other week and it's fantastic. Good strong pole and light.

Heve heard the no'4's are prone to breakage . A mate of mine had a no.4 on a 796 explode while netting an average Whiteacres carp not too long ago. This [put me off the 796 so I have just bought an MAP Definition.
Not used it yet, just elasticated 5 of the 6 power tops today and will given it a go on Sunday on a match at the Catteries. Will let u know how i get on with it.

Given the large outlay for a decent pole it can be a nightmare choosing the right one for you. A quick waggle in a crowded tackle shop cant really be enough to make a choice can it???
Poles cost as much as car's and i think it would be nice to be able to actually fish with a demo model similar to a test drive in a motor before parting with all that cash. Do any tackle dealer's do this anywere??

Cudmores new tackle shop "one stop tackle " will I believe be allowing anglers the chance to try a demo pole before buying.
