Had a 796 for a year now & been very impressed with it.
carp to 16lb on & a few 100lb+ bags in the summer & it's stood up to it all.
It's my 1st garbolino & i'm sure it won't be my last !!!
Only broke a no.6 section which was my fault.

I agree that it depends on what you are using it for, and where.
The Preston Innovations - Cinetex Action Carp Pole is a great deal for the money. RRP at £999.00 but can be bought from us at £699.

Anybody tried the Maver 201 ,I've been told it's a good buy for around 700 quid.
