My mate, who is a proper tackle tart and has the best gear money can buy, actually made his cut handle by getting a cheap 3 metre whip and cutting it back to about 6 feet and fitting a thread fitting. This really looks and feels the mutts nuts and when fitted with a small cut pan is light as a feather and strong enough to land carp. Every one to their own I suppose. Still like to see Larry with his bit of cane though.

get a cheap margin pole and do the same thing it will take apart and every thing hmmmmmmm i might do this ideas already.

i use extending aluminium ones. theyre cheap but i keep breaking them with big carp
