You really should go and try the Milo 1600. Then you will realise just how good the RIVE is, do not listen to anyone who hasnt a RIVE.

I have a Rive and cant fault it one bit, but does a seat box make u a better angler - of course not. I would go to a big tackle shop and have a good play round. Before my Rive i had a boss box for 8 plus years and it was awsome (very light i know it doesnt have the gadgets off the very modern boxs but you still see alot of them about and the new ones are meant to be gud) so i would suggest Boss aswell. Before that i had an ASI which have been round donkey years and yet there is still a demand for them. I know a few who have Milos and they rate them highly i think you need to have a gud look.

I personally think that your seat box is one of the most important bits of kit that you own and I do believe that it does help you to put a few extra fish in your net. First of all if you are not sitting comfortably you will can concentrate thus you will miss bites etc. Secondly you will probably over time hurt your back or end up with bad posture both very painful. Lastly a good box coupled with good accessories ( bait trays etc.) will make sure everything you need is to hand which in turn speeds up most things.
Personally I have a Preston Innovations XBox and I think it ticks all the right boxes for me but as with all tackle I think it is all down to what you prefer.

so really like i was saying there is no better box
as for the accessories you can get most things now that fit most boxes
as for sitting comfortable and getting bad back most of this is down to the person not setting his box up right
think it realy does boil down to personal preferance
