Default pole cleaner

Hi all,
Is there anything to clean the inside of pole joints? I have been told baby bottle brushes work but can't find any long enough, any ideas ?

I dont as a rule.

When i very occasionally do clean a pole i just use the shower. power shower will soon blast the crud out.

Buy a pole cleaning kit. Cost about a tenner. Like a set of mini chimney sweep brushes. Most decent tackle shops sell them. Had mine from Fosters.

Think I'll try the shower first then the cleaning kit, I seem to get grit in the ends and the ends of the joints get scratched, don't know why or how, thanks both

think the reason they get grit in the ends and scratched
when you are taking the fish of or putting bait on your No2 is sat on the floor and not on the rollers or a rest of some sort.
