well i sold my shimano speedmaster and bought a map definition pole, put them both up against each other at diff lenghts and the map P*ssed all over the speedy ive used it a few times now and am well impressed everything you could possible wanrt in a pole ,strong-light&stiff and as peeps say it comes with an impressive extras package i got mine for £675..if i did have a slight grumble it would be (and all pole manufactures do it) the top kits come in single pole tubes and of course once you laccy them up they are then useless why cant they come in preston type top kit holders?? mind you if u are a tight yorkshireman ...the tubes cut up do make very cheap feeders lol!

Thanks for the comments on the pole. Regarding the tube issue, yes your right. We are currently looking at it and all future spares for poles will be coming in larger tubes, so you will be able to store them once elasticated.
