I have been using this line for around six months now, and pretty much all of my rigs are now remade on Mosella Xedion Pole Line. It has been used in all situations from commercial fishing to pole feeder on the river to joker fishing on the cut and everything in between.
I had my friend whack his micrometer over it and the stated diameter is very consistent with the actual diameter (less than 0.005 difference on 3 samples of 3 different diameters)
It is perfectly clear in colour, and is very hard to see even in clear water, although this is with human eyes not fish eyes!
The Xedion is very supple, hanging straight down off the spool and falling nicely when shotted even in the larger diameters ( I have used it up to 0.16, although it is available up to 0.22)
Knot strength seems good, although (as with all lines) ensure you wet any strangulation knots thoroughly before tightening to ensure an even bedding and no spiralling from heat warping.
Breaking strains are:
0.08 - 0.68kg
0.10 - 0.98kg
0.12 - 1.31kg
0.14 - 1.91kg
0.16 - 2.31kg
0.18 - 2.94kg
0.20 - 3.97kg
0.22 - 4.73kg
For diameters below this (hooklengths only, as I rarely, if ever, drop below a 0.08 mainline) I use The Mosella Xedion Hook Link
This is available in 50m spools in lower diameters with more increments, but as far as I can tell, is exactly the same line.
Breaking strains:
0.05 - 0.46kg
0.06 - 0.63kg
0.07 - 0.79kg
Rest assured I will only use and endorse a product if I have absolute confidence in it, sponsorship or not, and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone lookin for a good pole rig line, or hooklength for running line tactics.
