Yes, is any seat box worth over a grand, is any pole worth over 2 grand thats where anglers decide.

Look the word S*** and Rive do not go in the same sentance FACT!!!!

Its like me saying the tourney pro is a crap pole just cuz I dont own one.

many people disagree and if S.Ringer & A.Scotthorne chose one over all others based on quality its more than good enough for me.

I remember when a box was something to carry your kit in, and proper fishermen did it standing up.
Ok times have changed, but in my opinion your prority should be the things that help you put more fish in the net.
Having said that, if you are going to blank, you might as well do it in style.....

I have just upgraded to the rive ST from a milo 2003 and it really is loads better. it has a bigger footprint which makes it much more stable, has a wider comfier seat to fit my widening a##e on and is a really nice red colour which matches the colour of my cheeks once i've dragged all my gear to my peg. so there you go worth all that extra money !!!

lukeboy, your clueless mate seriously. i spoke to steve about his and trust me hes not the kind of bloke to bullshit, bought his based on spending time in holland with a.scothorne and was totally convinced of its quality by the end of the trip. Try to make a judgement based on experience not just what you think, opinions are fine, hey we all have them but to knock something without first hand experience is either arrogant or dumb you chose.

Its not a matter of whats best when it comes to boxes as each have their own advantages /disadvantages.

A box is just a box at the end of the day you sit your backside on it and throw your gear in it, ok so some have a few extra bolt ons that others don't, but that can be worked around, does it really matter ?

The thread starter poised a trick question and one that cannot be truly answered

After all beauty is in the eye of the beholder is it not
