I really like the look of the new S range but i have the Matchbox Msx 4s and it supurb.

I also know that people raly highly rate the Rive boxes but the problem come's when you need to get the add on's and the bank starts to drop dramaticly

that was my thinking aswell. u can get a fully loaded matchbox for less than the price of the basic rive frame! i dont think a rive wud much use untill u'd added some extra trays!?

everything about the rive is quality, had mine 3 years and the basic box was about 500 but with the add on s you can add another 400 so it works out very expensive . Very , very good but at a price

What the hell are you lot on. You cannot compare a rive with any other box.

You can either afford one or you cant.

You can either afford a Bentley or you cant, Its as simple as that

The prime requirement of a box is that you are comfortable on it and with it, the cost surely is unimportant. Just because something costs double what another product does not make it the right choice for every angler and I have yet to see anyone truely justify why a Rive box is better than a Milo or a Milo better than a Matchbox etc, much the same can be said about other items of tackle, one of the anglers in my club aint got a Tourny Pro or a Rive or any other often highly rated gear, but he does catch fish and has held the record weights at many venues I guess he must be happy with what he uses.
