I've been using them for about a year and wouldn't use any other, for match carp fishing they are great they are better than shot because they stay on the line and don't ping off and slide easily, they are better than styles because they are easier to fit and remove.

I have been using them for a while now and i also find they dont damage the line as much and it is easyer to fit say a size 11 stotz on to .21 line as i would struggle to fit shot and i found they would always ping of the line

Awesome - I couldnt put a shot on under a number 8 without it rolling out of my hand - STOTS are flat and so do not roll and are really easy to put on!
Get an applicator aswell as they have a tool for pinging them off as well as putting them on!

Use them all the time on lines above 08. A very good shot for bulking, easy to apply and remove. Very useful when your hands are cold.

I think this question has been asked before, I use them and I think they are great, easy to put onto the line, brilliant.
