Tourney, its been around a long while if there was anything bad about it you would have heard by now, its a solid pole from a solid manufacturer

Default tournament pro

i have had 2 tournament pros and yes the joints can work themselves loose , but its down to the taper of the pole and its not just the pro other companies poles have had the same issue .
but even still i aint lost any sections in over two years and i now have a airity and wouldnt swap it for anything .
anyone saying about sensas poles thing to remember is that they are built by reglass , ah the same as maver mmm carbon splitters i think ,i chatted to a chap a few weeks ago who had a sensas pole and in 18mnths broke 5 sections . shame they only give one joker card .
look at the shimano poles they have a two year warranty and built very strong , better than any joker card

Persoanlly I don't think you can beat the Daiwa, I had a Pro for 4 years and never broke it once plus used it for everything - then when it was nearly worn out I sold it all as spares and got back over £1400 ... then I went and bought the Airity, just an impoved version of the Pro really.

If you want the best silverfish pole out there for up to 16 elastic there is no competition - the Colmic 5000 Match, stiffest, lightest, thinest - simply THE BEST.

I have a Maver 371 (the 401 is better at 16m apparently but I rarely fish this distance) and I am mightily impressed with it. My dealer tells me spares are not a problem for Maver poles but I have yet to need any! Spares for Garbolino can be a problem, having owned a Tomcat for a number of years I know from experience.

Incidentally the Maver sections work on a push and twist principle which means they cannot come apart/fall off once they have been locked. It also means they never lock together either - you simply untwist and they come apart easily. The 371 is supplied with an amazing number of match and power tops, clean cap system and a cupping kit. Very impressed for the money.

I looked at the Daiwa Tournament Pro but the Maver seemed stiffer and I preferred the finish. It's all subjective really - go to a dealer and try them out.
