HI RYAN

Just read a review on the new garbolino G50 in may edition of advanced pole fishing!
seems like a fantastic package for £425 !
you really need to go to a shop with a pole alley to compare all of them!
A word of warning! i wouldnt go for a Maver.they dont make any pole to last!

good hunting

Hi Ryan,

If you can find a better pole than the TKS30 please tell me what it is, because i have not seen one!

When we launched the TKS range of poles, we put each model up agaist EVERY pole that was, or was roughly the same price, and they came out on top. All i will say is always compare poles like for like side by side and then decide.

Best Regards

Mike

Default New pole

Have a look at the Shimano Exage AX/Exage Pro. I'm very happy with the AX and I know a former match star who is just getting back into fishing who has bought the Pro and he is delighted. Good luck.

Hi ryan

By the sounds of things the TKS does everything you want it to do. Did the person who told you that you could get better try to sell you a pole by another company???

Anyway I have had MAP poles and think they are good value with good spares available and Ive also owned the Exage Ax which was also a very good pole. The best advice anyone ever gave me when buying a new pole is to go to a large shop with a pole alley and find someone who is impartial and get them to show you a range of poles.

I ended up buying a pole that I had not even considered.

Good Luck

Mark

Mike

Im over the moon with it. I won my first match with it last weekend. I weighed in 52lb 2oz of carp all caught shallow on banded hard pellet fishing at 11.5 mts with the short number 4 in place of the normal number 4. It was a dream to use even though I had to break down twice because of the bank behind me. Ive had a couple of sections wins as well so I think I made a very good decision.

Had a hold of the TKS 40 today and it looks like a seriously nice peice of kit.

Default MAP Pole

Not over the moon today. I had a number 3 section explode into 3 peices. Fishing to the corner of an island 11.5 mts away and a good fish took me round the side and hooked me into some reeds. I was using substantial line ( 0.18 to 0.14 hook length ) so it wasnt going to break easily. Managed to get back to the short no4 ( must of had about 9 mtrs of elastic out at this point) and then BANG.

Mind you it didnt stop me from coming second in the match

Glad ive got 7 errr i mean 6 kits left for next week.
