Default Traditional Waggler or Pellet Rod?

Does anyone use a traditional 12 or 13ft Waggler rod for Pellet shallow or is it a case of the shorter Pellet waggler rods do a better job?

Short pellet rods are designed for that purpose. The action of the rod is built for bagging big fish. But the only reason I use a short pellet rod is that I can take it to a venue ready made up and broke down into two sections for easy transportation. Dont use it all the time but if I need it I can just set it up in seconds. I use the shakespeare Mach 3 and it's the dogs. Also got the matching feeder rod cos somewhere inside all of us is a tackle tart

Short pellet waggler rods will go the same way as 18 - 20 footers. 15ft waggler rods

The BARGAIN BIN

Sorry they are already there
