I didn't cover that point Neil.Poolsfodder seems to tie a uniform knot for the stonfo end of a pole rig- never been overly concerned about consistency on this end myself.Must admit I don't find any difficulty when using the knotless knot to first tie a small loop by teasing the knot to a small loop when tightening. You can do this I'm sure!

I use it for all my loops. I just find it quicker, and in my opinion, its much stronger too... never had one 'go'.

Incluidng a hair.

Can tie one with approx 6mm loop.

I find them very useful although I admit iI do use the Seymo one. Having big chubby fingers makes it hard for me to tie small loops but I find it great for making up hair rigs and pole rigs although the loop is only just big enough for the stonfo which come with the ping carp bungee.

best loop tyer for hair rigs, push two darning needles into a wine bottle cork(after draining the contents) one a bit deeper than the other ,1/4" apart, tie your loop and slip the big end over the bigger pokey out bit and the smaller of the two loops over the, wait for it,shorter needle, lick and gently tighten up.voila!
